Happy Black Friday 2020! I think it goes without saying that many of us are going to be shopping the infamous sale day a bit more intentionally than in years past. This year I wanted to put together a curated post that highlights the sales I’m personally the most excited about, instead of just listing every sale happening on the internet. I hope you find it more helpful and less overwhelming!
I myself am not really planning on doing too much damage, and the main pieces I have my eye on are all things for my new flat! Living in London makes it a bit more difficult to shop the sales, because Black Friday only started showing up here 4-5 years ago (remember that they don’t celebrate Thanksgiving!). The sales are never as steep in the UK as they are in the states. The biggest sale time of the year here is on Boxing Day (26th December) and throughout January, so if I feel like it’s something I can wait for, I know I’m better off holding out until after the holidays!
With that said, there are definitely a few sales that have grabbed my interest. They’re all from retailers that rarely have a sale on, so now is a great time to stock up on pricier items like home goods or coats! I’ve done my best to share both the UK and US links for each retailer – I hope this helps!
THE 5 BLACK FRIDAY 2020 SALES I’M SHOPPING
1. Anthropologie: US link here and UK link here
30% off your entire purchase (US) and 25% off your entire purchase with code OURTREAT (UK)
Anthropologie is a great retailer to take advantage of on Black Friday. While they do occasionally do blanket sales on Anthro days, their Cyber Weekend deals are always better! I love their selection of unique homewares and will definitely be picking up a thing or two today. Shop my picks below.
2. & Other Stories: US link here and UK link here
25% off your entire purchase (US) and 20% off your entire purchase (UK)
I always like to grab few pieces from & Other Stories on Black Friday because it’s so rare for the entire site to be discounted! While some of their prices are a bit higher than your typical high street retailer, I find that the quality is there and the pieces will last you longer than their less expensive competitors. Shop my picks below.
3. COS: US link here and UK link here
25% off when you spend $200 (US) and 30% off select items (UK)
COS is a brand that I didn’t really start shopping at until I moved to London. Favoring timeless classics over passing trends, COS pieces are ones that I know I’ll have for years to come. They have an entire team dedicated to sustainability and hope to be using 100% recycled materials by 2030. I love all of their minimal and chic designs! Shop my picks below.
4. Mango: US link here and UK link here
Up to 50% off on thousands of items (US & UK)
If you’ve been following me for awhile then you probably already know that Mango is one of my favorite retailers. The states usually see more discounts from them than we do over here in the UK, so I’ve definitely taken advantage of their Black Friday sale this year! Shop my picks below.
5. H&M Home: US link here and UK link here
30% off your entire purchase (US) and 20% off your entire purchase (UK)
H&M Home is hands down one of my favorite home goods retailers. With my recent move, home decor is top of mind this Black Friday and I definitely took advantage of the rare H&M site-wide discount. While nothing can beat going into their stores (they have the most amazing selection of plants and dried florals!), their website still has lots of goodies to offer. Shop my picks below.
What will you be shopping for today??
