Since moving to London, travel has become a much bigger part of my life than ever before. While I wouldn’t say I’m an expert per say, I’ve definitely found a few amazing products that make my life easier when I’m on the go. Below are my top 3 purchases of 2018, all of which would make fab travel gift ideas!

Quality Luggage

One of the most important things you can invest in as an avid traveler is luggage. Away is by far the best company I’ve found for quality suitcases that will last for years to come. They come in dozens of colors (I’m partial to black because it shows less wear and tear, but how pretty is the light pink?!) and are surprisingly spacious and lightweight. The carry on bags come with removable battery packs, which is convenient for charging your phone on the go. The company has also expanded into weekend bags, backpacks, and more. I can’t recommend their products enough – they would make such a great gift!

Foldable Backpack

This Longchamp backpack has become my number one travel companion. I bought it over the summer for our trip to the South of France, and it has come on every single trip I’ve taken since. It folds up ridiculously small, so you can easily fit it into your suitcase so as not to waste a carry on bag (I like to bring an expandable tote as my second carry on). Once I arrive at my destination, I use this as my everyday bag. It’s lightweight, spacious, and stylish.

Eye Masks for on the Plane

If there’s one thing I’ve learned from our constant red eyes from NYC to London, it’s that an in-flight skincare routine is critical! I start by wiping my face with a facial cleansing wipe, then follow that up with a spritz of Evian. I then apply a hydrating serum, moisturizer, and finish with an under eye mask. These ones from Peter Thomas Roth are my absolute favorite – they smell like a spa and have a cooling sensation which feels amazing after hours on a plane! I like to go over them with a jade roller for a maximum de-puffing effect. Any frequent flyer needs these products in their life!

What’s your number one travel item?! Which of these travel gift ideas speaks to you the most?

I was looking at WHITE luggage, and al I could think is how dirty it would be after one flight. I love the eye mask idea, I need to do that.
