Last month I had the opportunity to spend the night at Coworth Park, a beautiful countryside hotel less than an hour outside of London. It’s safe to say that I’ve officially found my new favorite city escape!

You guys already know how much I love Coworth Park – I attended a polo event there over the summer and it’s one of my favorite London memories to date. However, I had never actually stayed at the hotel, so to say I was thrilled to be presented with this opportunity would be putting it lightly! I grabbed my gal Whitney and we headed into the country for mini city escape. Fun fact: Prince Harry stayed here the night before his wedding to Meghan Markle. If that’s not a ringing endorsement for the kind of excellence you can expect, then I don’t know what is!

We stayed in the “Shepheard Suite” and it is hands down one of the most amazing hotel rooms I’ve ever had the opportunity of staying in. Every last detail was impeccable! From the huge copper bath rub, to the beautiful country views, to the lavender pillow mist on the nightstands – they thought of absolutely everything to make their guests stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible.

While you’re there, there are so many different activities you can take part in. Below are a few of the highlights!

Coworth Park Highlights:

Dinner at The Barn

During your stay at Coworth Park, dinner at The Barn is a must. The Barn is an incredibly cozy and relaxed restaurant situated on the hotel grounds. During the fall and winter months they have a big fire roaring in the back, and you feel as though you’ve stepped into a cabin in the woods! It’s equal parts romantic and laid back, making it the perfect date spot. The menu changes seasonally and offers an array of different comfort foods. Whitney and I shared the Costwold chicken and the truffle gnocchi and my mouth is watering just thinking about it! For dessert we split the apple and blackberry crumble which was to die for. I plan on coming back here with Connor during the holiday season!

A Treatment at the Spa

Another great thing to do while staying at Coworth Park is treating yourself to a trip to the spa. They offer a variety of luxury spa treatments from facials, to massages, to manicures. I had the Coworth Park Signature Treatment, which was unlike any other spa treatment I’ve ever had. It combines the best of both a facial and a massage. Need I say any more? It’s safe to say I left much more relaxed then when I arrived!

Afternoon Tea in the Drawing Room

It wouldn’t be a trip to an English hotel without enjoying a proper afternoon tea! Coworth Park offers a fabulous high tea, and changes it’s menu seasonally. When we were there we had the autumn tea, but they are now serving their festive Christmas tea (which I’m dying to go back and try next month!). If you know me, then you know that my favorite part of afternoon tea is always the scones and theirs did not disappoint. The sandwiches and sweets were also amazing – Whitney and I could barely button our pants after we finished polishing off nearly the entire tower 😉 The sign of an afternoon well spent!

Other Activities

There are so many other things you can do during your stay, such taking horse riding lessons, having a healthy lunch at the Spatisserie, visiting the nearby Windsor Castle, trying out the Michelin-starred Restaurant Coworth Park, and so much more!

If you’re looking for a lovely little retreat from London, look no further than Coworth Park!

xx Mollie
