TGIF!! The first week back after the holidays always feels so long. But we made it, and I have a really exciting post to share with you! Today is somewhat of a special day for me because it marks two years since I started Mollie Moore! I thought the perfect way to celebrate would be by checking something off my bucket list: The Top of the Rock.
The Top of the Rock was even better than I could have imagined. When I first got to the top it honestly took my breath away! You get an iconic view of the Empire State Building on one end, and when you look to the other side you have sweeping views of Central Park. Everywhere you look is simply stunning, and I’m so happy I made the effort to go. It can be easy to label those kinds of things as “touristy”, but I don’t care how long you’ve lived in NYC, that view will never get old! It was the perfect way to celebrate two years in this crazy blogging world.
When I first started Mollie Moore I had no clue what would come of it. All I knew was that I was working in a job that lacked creativity, and my blog gave me the creative outlet I was so desperately craving. It was scary to put myself out there in a way I never had before; What would my coworkers think? What would my friends think? This is something I still struggle with today (see #17). I can’t thank you enough for continuing to visit this little space of the internet as frequently as you do. You’ve given me the courage to slowly but surely expand into more than just a fashion blog. You’ve helped me to discover my love for the written word. You’ve given me the confidence I needed to quit my corporate job and do something that I love! So THANK YOU for all of your support throughout the past two years, and I can’t wait to see what’s in store over the next year!
