Can you guys believe the holidays have officially come and gone?! I feel like Thanksgiving was just yesterday, but yet here we are in 2017. This means two things: 1. Most of us are back to work today (ugh!) and 2.) It’s time to put all those resolutions into action! One of my biggest resolutions this year is to get back into running. While there’s no magic trick to make you want to go the gym, I do find that cute new workout clothes can really help! The excitement of wearing my new gear is sometimes all the motivation I need to get out there. In todays post I’m sharing a few of my favorite pieces from the Kate Spade x Beyond Yoga athletic line. Keep reading to find out what I love about this collab!
Confession: I own a LOT of athletic apparel. In college I interned for lululemon athletica at their headquarters in Vancouver, B.C. This was back in 2012, when lulu dominated the athleisure market. Since then, the athletic apparel industry has blown up, and several competitors such as Athleta, Bandier, and Sweaty Betty have given lululemon a run for their money. While I still love all the lulu gear I accumulated during my internship (and if you care for it properly – wash on delicate cycle and hang dry – it will last you for years!), I also enjoy trying out new brands. One of my favorite new discoveries is the Kate Spade x Beyond Yoga collab. You get all the whit and whimsey that comes with Kate Spade, coupled with the outstanding quality of Beyond Yoga fabrics.
What first caught my attention was the bow jacket. I love how the clean lines of the jacket really allow the bow to take center stage. As I continued to scroll through all of the other pieces, I quickly realized my wallet was in some serious trouble 😉 I also ended up buying these bow leggings, and they’re honestly the softest leggings I own. They’re going to be perfect for yoga, barre, or cross-training. I even got my mom a pair for Christmas! Some other pieces I have my eye on include this bow back tank as well as the striped version of the bow jacket.
What’s your favorite place to shop for workout clothes? I’m always interested in trying new brands!
