Moore Please! 6.15.18

Moore Please! is a weekly Friday series where I can just chat about what’s been on my mind lately. From what I’ve been eyeing & buying, to personal updates, to weekend plans – you can read all about it here!

Lifestyle blogger Mollie Moore shares weekend plans, recent purchases, and more in Moore Please!

We made it to Friday! What a week it’s been, I’m so happy to see the weekend. As I mentioned last week, all (20) of our boxes from New York arrived last Friday. I let them sit over the weekend because I knew once I got started, I wouldn’t be able to stop unpacking, and I wanted to enjoy the two days a week I get to spend with Connor. I got to work on Monday, and it took me until Wednesday to get everything set up and in it’s place. I’m the type of person who needs to be settled in, organized, and fully decorated right away. Is anyone else like this?! There can be no “in-between” period for me, it’s all or nothing. We are now completely unpacked and it feels so good – I had no idea how much of a difference having some of our sentimental decor pieces would make. London officially feels like home now and I couldn’t be happier in our new flat.

MOORE SHOPPING

Club Monaco has a great sale going on right now, and I couldn’t resist picking up a few pieces!

MOORE WEEKEND

I can hardly contain my excitement about our plans for tonight – we’re going to see Ed Sheeran at Wembley Stadium!!!! We were supposed to see him in Brooklyn last fall, but ended up selling our tickets because we realized we could make a profit. I was really bummed not to see him though, but I feel like it all worked out for the best. Now we get to see him in London, and we’re going with friends which is always more fun! The cherry on top is that his opening act is Anne-Marie – you might not know her name but you definitely know her songs. She sings 2002, Alarm, Can I Get Your Number, etc. I’m *almost* more excited to see her than Ed! We don’t have any set plans for Saturday and Sunday, which is kind of nice. I’m sure Saturday morning we will be in recovery mode after the concert, so it’s nice to be able to take it easy. I plan on seeing how the weather is and going from there!

MOORE BROWSING

  • My friend Katie got engaged earlier this month! Check out the adorable proposal story here. So happy for her and Nick!!
  • Sarah shares a great post about body positivity and why your “flaws” are perfect.
  • I always love checking out Grace’s monthly reading lists. I need to add Famous in Love to my summer reads! I love a good easy-to-read book, and this one is also a TV show I’ve been wanting to binge.
  • Emily shares her summer bucket list, and I think we should all add some of these to our own list! I love the idea of creating summer Friday’s for myself every now and then, especially on nice days (I’ve been told to enjoy them while we have them in London)!

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

xx Mollie

20 Boxes sounds like a lot of work. I do understand you wanted to do everything at once. If you can’t see the result in time it’s too frustrating. 😀 I’m already excited to see photos of your new home. 🙂
