One of my favorite things about London has always been the style. The ladies here dress smart, chic, and always seem to be able to put a classic twist on the latest trends.
Since moving here, I’ve discovered loads of new brands and have been having so much fun learning about each one. Last week I had the opportunity to attend a personal styling session at Hobbs in Covent Garden. Hobbs is a brand that I wasn’t too familiar with before moving here, but it’s a London staple. Kate Middleton is frequently pictured in their clothing, particularly their gorgeous wool coats, so if that isn’t a ringing endorsement than I don’t know what is!
Their Covent Garden location is HUGE (it has 3 floors!) and the staff was so knowledgable about their current offerings. They have everything from casual day wear, to suiting, to formal evening attire – anything you could need can be found at Hobbs. It was love at first for me and these cropped floral trousers, and when my stylist then showed me the matching pajama-style top, I was sold! Pajama dressing is a very popular current trend, but leave it to London to make it in a way that doesn’t scream “bedtime”. I love this look because it’s so put together, but also extremely comfortable. Connor and I had gone out to brunch at Farm Girl just before shooting these photos, and thanks to the elastic waist on the pants I was able to comfortably eat my weight in avocado toast.
What do you think of the pajama trend – would you wear it?
