The White Elephant Nantucket

Lifestyle blogger Mollie Moore reviews the White Elephant Nantucket

It’s no secret that Nantucket is one of my favorite places in the world. I truly don’t think there’s anything else quite like it – it’s charming, beautiful, and so friendly. Connor and I go every summer, and a few days is never enough. I swear I could live there year round – I love it that much! This year we stayed at the White Elephant, which was nothing short of amazing. If you’re interested in booking a trip to ACK, I highly recommend staying there. Keep reading for my full review!

The Hotel: The White Elephant is one of the best luxury hotels on Nantucket, immersing you in island charm and elegance. It’s located right on the Nantucket Harbor, offering stunning water views from every room. As soon as we stepped off the ferry we were greeted by a staff member from the hotel, waiting with a car to take us to the property! The entire team at White Elephant is friendly and accommodating – they do everything they can to make sure you have an enjoyable stay. Our room was ready as soon as we arrived, and our luggage was quickly whisked away as we were briefed on the all the complimentary amenities the hotel offers. Some of my favorites were cheese and wine every night at 4pm, coffee and breakfast pastries in the morning, corn hole in the backyard along the water, and bikes for biking around town! ALL complimentary! They also have a restaurant, Brant Point Grill, which offers up some amazing food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. My favorite was the lobster mac n’ cheese, and I also loved their Frosé. SO yummy!

Our Room: We stayed in a Harborview Suite, which was absolutely beautiful. The room featured a king bedroom, a living room with a pull-out sofa and working fireplace, and an outdoor patio equipped with a table and chairs (and some stunning views!). We had TWO flatscreen TV’s (one in the bedroom and one in the living room), free wi-fi, aromatherapy bath amenities, bathrobes and sippers, and complimentary bottled water. We enjoyed the fireplace the most, which was so cozy to have on at night. The island really cools off when the sun goes down! We also got a ton of use out of our patio. It was so nice to have my morning coffee looking out over the water, and we enjoyed a glass of wine there in the evening as well.

The Location: The White Elephant could not be in a more desirable location. As I mentioned, it’s right on the Nantucket Harbor, offering stunning water views for it’s guests. It’s also a short 5 minute walk from the Brant Point Lighthouse, sandy beaches, and downtown Nantucket. The fact that you can WALK to all of the best boutiques, art galleries, and restaurants that Nantucket has to offer is really saying a lot. Connor and I walked to the Juice Bar for waffle cones every night – you can almost smell the cones from the hotel ha! You really can’t ask for a better location during your trip to ACK, especially if it’s your first time on the island!

As you can tell, I really can’t say enough good things about my stay at the White Elephant. I highly recommend checking them out if you’re planning a trip to Nantucket (take me with you!!). I also want to take a moment to thank the White Elephant for having me last week, it was truly an incredible trip!

The amount of jealousy that I am feeling while looking at these photos is not real. What an absolute dream. I have to show this to my parents and convince them to go… ha!
