Stripes at The Parker

Lifestyle blogger Mollie Sheperdson shares a look styled at The Parker hotel in Palm Springs

Happy Friday friends! Another week has come and gone, and I’m looking forward to a relaxing weekend (especially after the VCPC last Saturday!). Although I can’t help but wish my weekend was going to be spent the same way as it was when these photos were taken! Palm Springs… I miss you.

My mom and I stayed at The Saguaro (more on that later!), but I knew I wanted to check out The Parker while I was in town. I’ve heard it’s such a cool and iconic spot, and it definitely didn’t disappoint! Every last detail of the hotel was so unique, from the decor to the architecture, it was stimulation overload. I love how this ($60!!) bright striped dress popped against the beautiful white wall that lines the entryway of the hotel. I kept my accessories neutral so that the dress could really make a statement.

After snooping around the Parker for a bit, we decided to get brunch at Cheeky’s Palm Springs. The wait is always at least 45 minutes, but believe me when I tell you it’s worth it! I had the eggs benedict, which is served on homemade cheddar biscuits, and it was seriously amazing. My mom got a green tea waffle with white chocolate and raspberries… and yes, it was just as delicious as it sounds! Such yummy and unique breakfast options. I also got a lot of compliments on this fun little dress at brunch, it’s definitely a statement piece!

What are your plans for the weekend? We have a graduation party in Staten Island tonight, and then the rest of the weekend will be spent in New Jersey, relaxing and enjoying the beautiful summer weather!
