The rainbow wall has been around for a few years now, and it’s definitely starting to show its age. There are a few places where the paint is peeling and cracked, but I still love coming here to take outfit pic (I shot this outfit at the wall last year). If you’re a blogger, or just love taking pretty photos, I definitely recommend squeezing this wall into your next NYC trip. I honestly hope they never replace it – It’s just too pretty!! I went into DUMBO knowing that I was going to be shooting here, so I was sure to keep my outfit simple. I opted for this easy white wrap dress and my favorite denim jacket. And how could I not style this amazing rainbow tassel Henri Bendel bag here?! Talk about the perfect backdrop.
After we got the shots, my mom and I stopped at the Brooklyn Ice Cream Factory (a must if you’re in DUMBO during the summer), and then walked back to Manhattan over the Brooklyn Bridge. I love being able to do some of the more “touristy” things with my mom when she visits. The Brooklyn Bridge will just never get old #allthehearteyes.
PS. How cute is today’s special guest, Daisy?! Fun fact: We rescued her 4 years ago this month at a local shelter in NYC. Why anyone would ever give up this sweet pup is beyond me – but my mom and I sure are happy they did because she brings SO much joy to all of our lives!
