Florals for spring, while not exactly groundbreaking, are by far my favorite print. I just can’t get enough of them this time of year! However, sometimes it’s nice to mix it up. Enter the polka dot print.
To be honest, I don’t think I’ve owned anything with a polka dot print since I was 6. I’ve really gravitated towards stripes, florals, and solids over the years. Imagine my surprise when I was scrolling through the Nordstrom new arrivals section, and this polka dot dress caught my attention. I love everything from the peachy pink hue, the ruffle hem, and the cold shoulder sleeves. At first I wasn’t sure about the print, as I still think polka dots can look a bit childish if done incorrectly – but as soon as I saw it in person I was sold. It’s a fun and feminine dress, and the polka dots are just right. I plan on wearing this frock all summer, as the material is really lightweight and not clingy at all. It will be perfect for those sticky summer days ahead!
What do you guys think about polka dots? Do you love the print or hate it? I would love to hear your thoughts!
