It’s finally Fri-yay!! I’m suuuuuper excited for the weekend because my mom is coming into town. The weather looks beautiful and I can’t wait to be a tourist in my own city – There’s so much of NYC I still want to see, and we will be crossing off some major bucket list items while she’s here! Today’s post, however, is all about spring in Paris. And this little floral number. Let’s get to it, shall we?
Spring in Paris:
I’m going to try not to talk your ear off too much about Paris today, because I’m sharing my “24 Hours in Paris” travel guide on the blog next week. You will probably hear more about Paris and how in love I am with the city than you will ever need to know 😉 So with that said, let’s focus on my outfit. I honestly can’t believe how LUCKY we got with the weather during our travels. Paris was 65 and sunny the entire weekend, and I finally got to wear all those spring dresses I’ve been scooping up.
I actually ordered this floral dress rather last minute, and had it shipped to our hotel in London. To be honest, it was more of an afterthought than anything else. I was ordering these sneakers, and needed to spend $25 more for free next day shipping. I am 100% the person who will spend an extra $50 to avoid a $10 shipping fee. Makes no sense, girl logic I suppose. But it ended up working out for the best, because this dress is going to be a staple in my spring wardrobe. It’s cut a little loose, making it perfect for Easter brunch because it’ll totally hide your food baby (ha!). What caught my attention the most was the beautiful pattern, and I loved pairing it with my new favorite floral appliqué tote and pink flats. I’ve also been getting a lot of questions about where this colorful street is – don’t worry! I’ll be sharing all the deets in my Paris travel guide. Be sure to check back here next week to read the post!
What are your plans for the weekend? I hope everyone is able to enjoy some beautiful spring weather!
