Thursday 2/9

Thursday marked the official start of fashion week (check out this post to see my NYFW packing necessities!). As you may have heard, NYC got hit with a serious blizzard in the morning! I was supposed to go to the Nicholas K show, but I skipped it and stayed warm in bed 😉 The snow stopped by late afternoon, so I decided to venture out to a Molton Brown event at the cutest little coffee shop in Tribeca called Maman. I got to experience all of the new Molton scents for spring – which are amazing BTW – as well as work with professional pastry chefs to design my own pastries. If you follow me on Snapchat (astylishsideprj), you saw that I probably shouldn’t quit my day job and open a bakery anytime soon haha. After Molton Brown I met Connor at the iHeart Radio Theater for a private Tinashe concert. John Frieda hosted the event, and it was SO much fun. Tinashe absolutely CRUSHED it, she has so many great songs and it was awesome to see her live. John Frieda definitely knows how to throw an amazing party!

Friday 2/10

This neutral look is what I wore on Friday (however, the heels lasted less than an hour before I changed into these). In the morning I headed to Dan Liu and Hakan Akkaya. I ended up front row at both shows thanks to several people being late! After work I checked out the Club Monaco presentation. They had turned their entire Flatiron store into a secret garden, and it was absolutely stunning. The coolest part about their presentation was that it’s all shoppable now! My favorite pieces were this off the shoulder top, this floral trench coat, and this bow sleeve top.

That’s it for the first few days of NYFW, but there’s plenty more to come over the next week as I share more looks with you guys. What did you think of this quick recap? Do you have any questions about fashion week you’d love to have answered?? Let me know below or shoot me an email!
