There’s nothing quite like a breezy maxi dress in the summer. It’s so easy to just throw on and go, all while looking effortlessly chic. As I’ve mentioned before, I have a hard time finding maxis that work for me. Whether the fabric is too clingy or the cut is all wrong, I can never seem to find one that looks good. And the evidence of this is in my closet, where I have one maxi dress! I think I’ve worn it maybe two times. However, as soon as I tried on the dress I styled in this post, I was sold.
The fabric is 100% silk, and so light and breezy. Read: not clingy! The waist band is stretchy which makes for a super comfy fit. And of course, what first drew me to this dress was the beautiful turquoise palm leaf pattern. This dress is perfect for day to night. During the day pair with sandals and a jean jacket for a chic shopping outfit. At night, swap out the sandals for wedges and add a few pieces of jewelry for dinner! This dress is on MAJOR sale right now, so be sure to check it out before its gone!! Note that I’m 5’6″ and did get the dress hemmed a significant amount. I prefer for my maxi length skirts and dresses to hit at the ankle.
