If ya’ll follow me on Snap (astylishsideprj), you already know that I had a mini “staycation” at the NoMo SoHo this past Sunday night. Sometimes it’s so fun to explore your own city as a tourist, especially in NYC where you could live here for years and never get to everything! Connor and I had so much fun exploring SoHo, which is an area that neither of us have lived in before.
The Hotel: The NoMo SoHo is a luxury boutique hotel in the heart of NYC’s SoHo neighborhood. Designed by Benjamin Noriega-Ortiz, it offers the authentic charm of SoHo, with a modern and chic twist. The hotel boasts NoMo Kitchen, an impressive restaurant and bar offering American cuisine made with local New York ingredients. The bar is both indoors and outdoors, and features the beautiful bleeding love heart graffiti that has become a destination of locals and tourists alike on the Lower East Side. The NoMo SoHo provides its guests with some incredible luxury services, including a 24-hour fitness center, free wi-fi, rooftop massages, and in-room custom tailoring and alterations. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating, and are clearly interested in making your stay as enjoyable as possible!
Our Room: We stayed in a Premier room and it was AMAZING!! The blue and white decor is simple and chic. The bathroom was covered in beautiful white marble with a spa shower, and fabulous Molton Brown amenities. But the best feature of this room was the view! We were surrounded by floor to ceiling windows with sweeping views of NYC and the Empire State Building.
The Location: The location of the NoMo SoHo couldn’t be more ideal. It’s just a three minute walk from the Canal Street 6 station on Crosby Street. It’s truly situated right in the heart of downtown SoHo, which means that you are literally steps away from some of the best food, shopping, and art galleries that the city has to offer. Connor and I tried Blue Ribbon Sushi for the first time (just an eight minute walk from the hotel), and it was so good! We’ve had it on our list for awhile, but when you live uptown it can seem like such a trek to go out in SoHo! It was so convenient to be close to such fantastic dining and shopping. I can’t say enough great things about the location of the NoMo SoHo!!
All in all, Connor and I had a great time at the NoMo SoHo and I would definitely go on another staycation there. SoHo offers endless amounts of shopping and entertainment, you will never run out of things to do while staying there!
Are any of you guys planning a trip to NYC soon, perhaps for fashion week?! Let me know, and definitely consider the NoMo for your stay!
